Job Description

I’m looking for a Mid-weight 2D Designer to join an award-winning London based events agency who bring brands to life through memorable moments & unforgettable events.

Whether they be hybrid and virtual events or exhibitions and corporate events, no two days are the same as you get to work on their extensive client base.

This agency has grown consistently and significantly over the years and continues to do so.

One of the main reasons for this is their passion, which is at the heart of everything they do, earning their reputation for expertise and imagination combined with an impeccable client experience.

As a Mid-weight Designer, you will be responsible for supporting the Events team working across a variety of different projects. This diverse position gives you a chance to work from event designs to marketing and digital promotions.

Although event experience is desirable, it is not essential. So if this is something you’ve not done before but feel you have the skills and mindset to do so, that’s great.

This isn’t a hybrid role and will require you to be in the office full time.

About you:

  • Enthusiasm towards the role, the company and your colleagues
  • Naturally proactive, self-motivated and thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • A true team player who works collaboratively and provides excellent support
  • Enjoys being involved in a wide variety of projects
  • Actively seeks and welcomes feedback
  • Works in calm and composed manner when managing multiple projects and deadlines
  • Leads by example with the ability to inspire and motivate others – particularly when inevitable challenges arise
  • Maintains the resilience and stamina required to sustain performance when under pressure
  • Enthusiastically responds to every task, no matter how menial
  • Passionate about supporting your peers to be better
  • Operates to an exceptional level of delivery
  • Balances an excellent eye for detail whilst considering the overall project objectives
  • An ability to build long term, mutually beneficial relationships

  • Supporting Senior Designers across the Events team.
  • Being an active contributor across the full scope of the design process: from research to idea concepting, to design development and artworking.
  • Delivering innovative, fun and well-executed design work that pushes boundaries.
  • Day to day management of workload across a broad range of projects and deadlines.
  • Building strong relationships within the wider team through regular and clear communication and a collaborative approach to work.

Experience, skills and attitude:

  • Graphic Design BA (Hons) or equivalent qualification.
  • Confident using Adobe CC suite with some digital design knowledge.
  • Enthusiasm with an eagerness and willingness to learn.
  • Detail-oriented, with good commercial awareness and understanding.
  • Self-motivated and organised. You can help frame timelines, respect deadlines, pre-empt issues and know when to ask for advice.
  • Skilled at working both independently and as a team player, bringing a positive can-do attitude to all aspects of the role.
  • Flexible and willing to react quickly to changing demands of the business.

If you’re a team player who works collaboratively, is naturally proactive and self-motivated then you can expect to earn between £28k-£35k.

On top of that, you’ll also receive benefits that include 28 days holiday (incl UK public holidays), a pension plan, fitness membership and an opportunity to attend overseas familiarisation trips on behalf of Sleek in luxury accommodation (recent destinations include Ibiza, Australia and the South of France!).
